Frank Kelly, who is best known for playing Father Jack in Father Ted, has died at the age of 77. The actor worked on screen and stage for over 60 years and had memorable roles in the likes of Glenroe, Emmerdale, Hall's Pictorial Weekly and of course, Father Ted. According to RTE, Kelly revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in November following previous bouts with bowel and skin cancer. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Bairbre, his 7 children and his 17 grandchildren.
