Hey-oooo! Listen up jabronis, now that the Golden God seems to be limiting the amount of time that he’s going to be spending in Paddy’s Pub, who would you like to replace the five-star man?
Hell, nobody can ever truly replace Dennis because as we all know, he hasn’t even begun to peak but with Glenn Howerton currently splitting his time with A.P Bio, it appears that he’s D.E.N.N.I.S systeming us all.
Well, we’ve already drawn up our list of the best supporting characters and while we’d love to see the likes of Jack ‘we’re lawyers!’ Kelly, Rickety Cricket, Pepper Jack, or Bill Ponderosa – Pondy’s the coolest – working behind the bar, it appears that Mindy Kaling (star of Ocean’s 8 and The Mindy Project) will be appearing in the new season.
Co-creator of Always Sunny, Rob McElhenney, initially broke the news via an Instagram post that was swiftly deleted.
As you can see below, the head of Paddy’s security was proud to announce “the new member of the gang” and Kaling confirmed her appearance on the show.
At present, it’s not known if Kaling will play a recurring character but here’s hoping that she lasts longer than Psycho Pete, Schmitty and countless other jabronis that tried to actually be mates with the gang.
Truth be told, we’re still hoping that the McPoyle’s get a shot at running the bar.
