At the start of the year, Derry Girls was added to Netflix global — meaning that audiences in the USA, Pakistan and South Africa got to watch it. It came as no surprise to us that Lisa McGee's loveable coming-of-age comedy won rave reviews and quickly cemented itself as one of the best comedies of 2018 on a global scale.

And the good news doesn't stop there. The show is always coming to Netflix Ireland & UK, meaning that ex-pats across the Irish sea or domestic fans of the show will be able to catch up on one of the best Irish comedies of recent times.
We have a feeling that some of The Viper's one-liners — "That's not what your mother said last night... In bed... Having sex" — will go down a storm across the pond. We can't wait to see what they make of the lads from Castletown.
