Love Island 2019 has just finished up leaving a gaping hole in the hearts of the thousands who tuned in at 9pm six nights a week.

However, in an attempt to soften the blow of ruining our weekday nights – the good people at ITV have already opened up applications to ‘vibrant singles’ who wish to apply for the show’s next series, set to air in 2019.

According to the ITV website:

“Once again our Islanders will take up residence in a spectacular luxury villa in the hope of finding love. But to stay on the island, they need to couple up – and more importantly – win the hearts of the public.”

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age before the closing date of 30 April 2019.

They must:

  • Not be employed by or previously been employed by ITV
  • Have a valid passport and any other travel documentation
  • Be available to participate in the programme for a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks from May 2019

Those who enter must also be aware of the show’s ‘Love Island privacy notice’.

This deals with the “sensitive information about you which we will need to ask you for (and/or which you may tell us about) during the casting process and making of the show”, such as questions about your previous dating history and preferences which are of course at the heart of the show.

So, essentially, they’re looking for all the personal things you wouldn’t want shown on internationally-streamed telly. The juicier, the better.

Think you’re up for the challenge?
