We asked Paddington himself if he thinks Paddington 2 is the greatest film of all time

His answer is the most perfectly Paddington'y answer you can imagine.

A few months back, there was a big to-do about Paddington 2, when somebody spotted that it had the most perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes, thanks to receiving the most five-star reviews out of any film ever. Effectively, using that as the formula, it made Paddington 2 the greatest movie of all time (take that, Citizen Kane!), until one critic came along and ruined the fun for everyone. But who could put this debate to rest? Well.... maybe Paddington himself? So when given the opportunity to chat to Ben Whishaw, who voices Paddington in the movies, of course we had to ask him! Whishaw is returning as Q for No Time To Die, having initially taken up the iconic role in Skyfall, and the new movie marks his third time as James Bond's gadget provider. In the run-up to the movie's release, we also interviewed No Time To Die's director and co-writer Cary Joji Fuakanaga, as well as Whishaw's co-stars Rami Malek (who plays the movie's big baddie Safin) and Léa Seydoux (who returns as Bond's love interest Dr. Madeleine Swann). He revealed his favourite Bond song of all time, his favourite memory of working with Craig in the role, the public reaction to this new generation's version of Q, how he'd love to do some big action stunts in a Bond movie (and he very nearly did, but they got written out!), and how he'd feel about coming back as Q but working with a different James Bond. But when you're given an opportunity to talk to Paddington about Paddington, then you talk to Paddington about Paddington! And we only had one question for him: is Paddington 2 the best movie of all time? Whishaw told us: "Yes, is the only possible answer! It's a pretty good film, isn't it? Yeah, I do love that film. It feels like every moment of that film is perfect, you wouldn't change it, would you? It is so pleasurable. That is not easy to do." No arguments here.
