Real intermission vibes.
Barry Keoghan is one of the stars of Burberry’s new Outerwear 2024 Campaign, which sees him lashing A LOT of brown sauce onto a breakfast meal.
The campaign – that also features celebrities Cara Delevingne, Cole Palmer, Eberechi Eze, Little Simz, Olivia Colman and Zhang Jingyi – sees each person rocking an individual piece of Burberry’s outerwear range in a series of “warm and light-hearted” short films.
Keoghan’s clips see him wearing a puffer jacket from the luxury fashion brand.
In one of his videos, the Irish Oscar-nominee is shown sitting outdoors at a restaurant about to enjoy a fry-up breakfast (we can’t tell from the angle if it’s a full English or Irish).
And ahead of tucking into the meal, he absolutely piles brown sauce onto the breakfast – in a way that recalls Cillian Murphy pouring brown sauce into his tea for “delish” results in Irish crime comedy classic Intermission.

The Burberry campaign comes as Keoghan is set to star in a crime thriller movie, according to reports, that is already earning comparisons to ’90s classic of the genre Heat.
Said to be starting shooting this month, the film is titled Crime 101 and is based on a novella by acclaimed crime author Don Winslow (Savages).
The plot synopsis for the original story, which shares obvious similarities to the 1995 Michael Mann-directed epic starring Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, can be read below:
“A string of high-level jewel heists up and down the Pacific Coast Highway has gone unsolved for years, mostly because the perpetrator has lived by a strict code he calls ‘Crime 101’.
“Police attribute the thefts to the Colombian cartels. But Detective Lou Lubesnick’s gut says it’s the work of just one man.
“Now the lone-wolf jewel thief is looking for that fabled final last score and Lou breaks all the rules of Crime 101.”
According to Variety – Keoghan, Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry and Mark Ruffalo are in negotiations to star in the crime thriller film that was written by and is set to be directed by Bart Layton.
This would be a reunion for Keoghan and Layton as they worked together on another heist-focused thriller – 2018’s American Animals. They were also previously announced to be collaborating on a Western about Billy the Kid.
It is understood, as per Variety, that Crime 101 is due to begin shooting in two weeks.
Keoghan already has an absolutely packed schedule of upcoming movies. These include the drama Bird, the Irish thriller Bring Them Down and an untitled project that he will co-star in alongside The Weeknd and Jenna Ortega.
The Irish Oscar nominee will also appear in the much-anticipated Peaky Blinders film and in Amo Saddam, where he will play a US solider tasked with guarding Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein during his final days.
He is also expected to reprise his role as The Joker in the upcoming Batman sequel.
