Saturday night, and I like the way you move.

PRETTY BABY.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s get to the important stuff – the movies that are on the TV this evening.

Here’s what we’re dealing with:

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again – 5.50pm – ITV2

ABBA are the best band ever. Discuss…

The Incredibles – 6.35pm – RTÉ One

One of the all-time great animated movies. Great watch for the whole family, but definitely not one that only kids can enjoy.

Home Alone 3 – 6.55pm – E4

Nope. It’s not Christmas.

Wayne’s World – 7pm – Comedy Central

Excellent comedy (see what we did there?) that holds up to this day.

Ali G Indahouse – 9pm – Comedy Central

Quite a good night for comedies, we must say.

Deadpool – 9pm – Channel4

Ryan Reynolds (the future owner of Wrexham FC, if he has his way) is the worst superhero ever, in this hilarious comedy. Not for kids.

Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation – 9.45pm – RTÉ One

Tom Cruise doing what a secret agent does this time sharing the screen with Jeremy Renner, Rebecca Ferguson and Simon Pegg. Great music.

27 Dresses – 10.05pm – TG4

A light-hearted romcom, which could be the easy watching that you need this evening.

Sing Street – 10.40pm – RTÉ2

Who doesn’t love a good Dublin-based singalong starring Aidan Gillen on a Saturday night?

Bad Neighbours – 10.45pm – UTV

Zac Efron goes head to head with Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne in a forgettable comedy that is still good for a laugh or two.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
