It’s Tuesday.

A weather advisory is in effect for Ireland until Saturday so the chances are, we’ll be spending some evenings inside this week.

In case this evening is one of those evenings, here’s a rundown of some of the best movies on TV today.

Drgaonheart – Film4 – 4.50pm

A dragon and a disillusioned knight team up in order to overthrow a tyrannical king.

Classic buddy cop movie but in medieval times.

Little Fockers – E4 – 9pm

The third instalment of the Meet The Parents franchise and is utterly predictable like the two before it.

Just the 9% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Red 2 – Film4 – 9pm

Frank Moses, a retired CIA agent, is approached by his colleague, Marvin Boggs, who wants him to track down a nuclear weapon that was smuggled into Russia.

The Waterboy – ITV4 – 10pm

The film that was quoted liberally in secondary school and despite it being extraordinarily dumb at times, it is plenty of fun as well.

Unsurprisingly, audiences enjoyed it more than critics.

Scary Movie – Comedy Central – 10pm

This is a spoof ‘scary movie’ spoofing a spoof, Scream.

“Forget the sense or logic if you want to enjoy this movie. All you gotta do is laugh when you find something funny. Here is a thumbs up from me.” – Random Google reviewer.

Disturbia – Film4 – 11.15pm

A teen under house arrest passes the time by spying on his neighbours.

But he soon discovers that one of them may be up to something sinister.

SPOILER: He’s a murdering bastard.
