Trainspotting Movies on TV

It’s Tuesday.

We got through Monday with only a modicum of trouble and we’re now faced with wet, windy and exceedingly dull Tuesday.

But hey, at least we’ve got some brand new things on Disney+ to check out to pass the time.

However, some of you are traditionalists and have no interest in that streaming malarky, and prefer good old fashioned movies on TV.

We cater for all audiences here in JOE so we’ve got you covered. Here are the best movies on TV later this evening.

Now You See Me 2 – Film4 – 6.30pm

A heist movie sequel.

Shallow Grave – Film4 – 9pm

Danny Boyle directs and Ewan McGregor stars in this dark comedy about three roommates who find their newly accepted fourth roommate dead in bed with a huge amount of cash beside him.

Backtrace – SyFy – 10pm

A man suffers a brain injury during a bank heist. After serving time in prison, he’s injected with a serum to aid his memory and embarks to recover the stolen money.

It got 11% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Coogan’s Bluff – ITV4 – 10.30pm

A classic western from 1968, the first of many brilliant collaborations between director Don Siegel and star Clint Eastwood.

Not the first or the last time its been on this channel.

Trainspotting – Film 4 – 10.50pm

The pick of the bunch tonight.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
