Whittling it down to just one is tough…

Two Oscar nominations.

A combined box office haul of over $8 billion.

And pretty much one of the actors that everyone would love to go for a pint or two with.

Will Smith has been consistently making a very interesting mix of entertaining blockbusters and interesting indies, and even when the movie around him wasn’t great (we’re looking at you, Suicide Squad), he usually remains a highlight throughout.

So with that in mind, and with the arrival of the surprisingly good/successful Bad Boys For Life, we want to know what your favourite Will Smith movie of all time is?

The Big Reviewski debated this very question in the latest episode, and you can check out their answers from 03:05 in the video below:

As it was Eoghan’s question, he answered first, and he went with Men In Black. This obviously arrived right off the back of Independence Day, and solidified Smith’s status as an absolute box office star king. Plus the combination of action and science fiction and comedy and Edgar The Bug made it a bit of a classic.

Next up, Justine answered with The Pursuit Of Happyness, which landed Smith an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. The drama was one of the first times that proved to audiences that he doesn’t need to be funny, or to be running away from explosions, in order to be a brilliant screen presence.

Up next, Paul went with Enemy Of The State, an old-school paranoid action thriller with just as much IQ as it has C4. It also helps that Smith was surrounded by a killer supporting cast, including Gabriel Byrne, Regina King, Jon Voight, Lisa Bonet, Barry Pepper, Scott Caan, Jason Lee, and the legendary Gene Hackman.

And finally, Rory chose I Am Legend, perhaps the movie with the single most expensive scene ever filmed – the Manhattan Bridge escape. It is basically 28 Days Later on steroids, and while it doesn’t always stick the landing, it is a fantastically unique action horror blockbuster.
