The crime thriller show has been earning comparisons to Breaking Bad, Mad Men and The White Lotus.

Apple TV+ has just added the second season of Your Friends & Neighbors, the "addictive" dark comedy crime thriller series starring Jon Hamm (Fargo, Mad Men).

The show follows Andrew 'Coop' Cooper (Hamm), a hedge fund manager who, while still grappling with his recent divorce, is fired after a romantic fling with a co-worker.

Struggling to support his family and his rich lifestyle without work, Coop resorts to stealing from his neighbours in the exceedingly affluent Westmont Village in New York.

In the process, however, he discovers that the secrets and affairs hidden behind his friends' wealthy facades "might be more dangerous than he ever imagined".

Hamm's first lead role on TV since Mad Men, Your Friends & Neighbors was created by Jonathan Tropper (Banshee, The Wrecking Crew).

Thanks to the show's great premise, Tropper's sharp satirical writing and Hamm's darkly likeable performance, S1 earned very good reviews from critics, with many comparing it to Breaking Bad, Mad Men and The White Lotus.

Now the crime thriller is back for season two, with James Marsden joining the show's ensemble cast, which also includes Aimee Carrero (The Menu), Amanda Peet (Something's Gotta Give), Hoon Lee (East of Eden), Lena Hall (Snowpiercer) and Olivia Munn (The Newsroom).

You can check out some of the positive reviews for Your Friends & Neighbors S2 below:

Awards Buzz: "In each episode of this show, it feels like Coop is flying too close to the sun and is fully aware of the precarious position in which he’s putting himself. Yet he’s hopeless to resist, and audiences will likely echo that sentiment."

Collider: "Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 is further proof that Tropper, Hamm, and Apple TV have made one of the most addictive series on streaming."

The Spool: "Season 2 is sharper, darker, and more incisive."

TVBrittanyF.com: "Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 is by turns hilariously wild, charmingly self-deprecating and quietly moving—often all three of these things in the same episode."
