There’s a Black Mirror spin-off and you can watch it all online now
Black Mirror has been one of Netflix’s most impressive successes.
What started out a weird Channel 4 sci-fi show written by cult columnist Charlie Brooker has now become an international sensation, with A-list actors and directors lining up to be involved.
Describing something as being “a bit Black Mirror” has become a shorthand to sum up any technology going too far, with more and more of the show’s concepts starting to become a reality.
The only real problem with the show is that, despite having run for four series, there are only 19 episodes so far. A fifth series in on its way, but if you’re craving for more, we could have the answer.
There is a Polish version of the show, titled Czarne lusterko (‘little Black Mirror’), made by Netflix Polska. And you can watch them all now, for absolutely free, on YouTube.
Running around 10 to 20 minutes each, they were commissioned by Netflix in the region and were made by various YouTubers and creatives.
It is an officially licensed spin-off, and covers the same sort of subject matter you expect from the parent show, including immersive video games, sinister wellness apps, and manipulative vloggers.
And they all have English subtitles as well – if they don’t come up automatically, just click the ‘Subtitles/Closed Captions’ button in the bottom right-hand corner.
Here is the playlist of all four episodes, or find them on YouTube.
