Bruce Willis asked to leave pharmacy for not wearing a face mask
The actor later called it "an error in judgment" in a statement.
Bruce Willis has released a statement after being asked to leave a pharmacy in Los Angeles for not wearing a face covering.
As reported by Page Six, the Die Hard star was photographed in a Los Angeles branch of Rite Aid without a face mask. An eyewitness told Page Six that he was asked to leave, and left the premises without purchasing anything.

Willis later released a statement to People Magazine, saying it was a mistake, and encouraged people to continue to wear their face masks.
"It was an error in judgment," said Willis.
"Be safe out there everyone and let's continue to mask up."
Bruce Willis was last seen in cinemas in 2019's Motherless Brooklyn, alongside Edward Norton and Willem Dafoe, and also in Glass, the long-awaited follow-up to Unbreakable. He also had a voice cameo in The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.
Earlier this year, Willis teased a return to the Die Hard franchise - but it turned out to just be an Advance Auto Parts commercial featuring John McLane.
Bruce Willis first played John McClane in the original Die Hardin 1998. Prior to that film, Willis was primarily known as a comedy star from the TV show Moonlighting.
John McClane would return for two sequels, Die Hard 2 in 1990, and Die Hard With A Vengeance in 1995. Both are generally regarded as fitting follow-ups to the original, and great action movies in their own right.
Then, after 12 years of inaction, we finally got a fourth instalment in 2007, with Live Free or Die Hard. While it was a reasonably enjoyable, it did not reach the heights of the original trilogy for most fans, and the PG-13 rating meant that John McClane could not say the word that comes after "Yippee Ki-Yay" properly (it was muffled by a gunshot).
The final cinematic appearance of John McClane so far came in 2013 with A Good Day To Die Hard.
It is not a good movie.
