We’re not the type of purists who have a conniption when their favourite films are remade once they turn out to be cool, but more often than not that’s really not the case.
That said, this remake of one of our most cherished (and violent) childhood movies, Robocop has a pretty stellar cast….

While boasting household names like Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman and (bleedin’ Batman himself) Michael Keaton, the role of Alex Murphy/Robocop went to ace star of The Killing, the *insert Mugatu voice “sooooo hawwwt right now” Swedish actor Joel Kinnamanm – who fills out the metal suit nicely.
It won’t be along until next year, but the trailers we’ve seen so far have been enjoyable enough…
