Chris Hemsworth would like to star in an Asgardians of the Galaxy movie

Thor teaming up again with the Guardians. Yes!

After being happily reunited with Korg and Miek, Thor seemed like he was enjoying himself in Avengers: Endgame.

You know, enjoying himself as much as someone can after his inability to aim for the head allowed Thanos to wipe out half of the world in Infinity War, but still, Thor eating his feelings was a different look for the God of Thunder in the latest MCU blockbuster.

After handing over control of the New Asgard to Valkyrie, it appears that for the first time in a very long time, Thor was free to relax and basically wander the galaxy.

However, there’s no denying that he has an incredible chemistry with the Guardians of the Galaxy, especially Rocket, and if you’re hoping for a crossover film, it’s on the cards.

Truth be told, there isn’t a day that passes where you can’t use the line “more power, rabbit” in a normal conversation.

Anyway, given the fact that the next stage of the MCU is still a tight-knit secret with various contracts still up for negotiation, Chris Hemsworth has increased our excitement levels after saying that that he’d be up for playing Thor in an Asgardians of the Galaxy.

In an interview with Cinemablend, the Australian star said: “I’d play that character again. I love it so much – especially if there’s something unique to do again with it.

“I felt like the last three films were very, very different each time. It really felt like a totally different character. And I don’t even know when or if they’re shooting [Guardians of the Galaxy 3]. After the Avengers press tour I kind of went and buried my head in the sand.

“I’ll work with any of those guys. Asgardians Of The Galaxy. That’s actually great. You might’ve just got me my next job. Thank you, man,” he said.

Of course, Hemsworth is a busy man because he’s currently doing the press tour for Men in Black: International and after this, he has Dhaka and the Hulk Hogan biopic on his slate.

As for Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3/Asgardians of the Galaxy, it might be a while until we see that one because James Gunn is currently working on Suicide Squad 2/The Suicide Squad, which is set for release in 2021.

Truth be told, we don’t care how long Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3 takes.

The only thing that matters is that the Guardians manage to team up with Thor again.

Oh yeah, please bring Korg and Miek along too because they’re awesome.

As you can see below, Chris Hemsworth absolutely loves those guys.
