The two-time Oscar winner discusses his part in 2019's first huge blockbuster.
Christoph Waltz exploded into the public domain thanks to his incredible turns in Quentin Tarantino's movies Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained.
Since then, he has continued to turn in some incredible performances in a wide range of genres, but this year he is taking part in his first proper huge budget sci-fi blockbuster thanks to Alita: Battle Angel.
In the lead-up to the movie's release, JOE was lucky enough to chat to the actor about his role in the new movie, as well as his reaction to finding out that his character's weapon of choice can only be described as a "rocket hammer".
He also talks about the biggest similarity between Tarantino and Alita: Battle Angel's director Robert Rodriguez, the influence of Dr. Frankenstein on his role, and why he normally isn't a big fan of big blockbuster movies.

We also had the opportunity to chat to the movie's director Robert Rodriguez, producer Jon Landau (who also produced Titanic and Avatar), and Waltz's co-stars Jennifer Connolly, Keean Johnson, and Alita herself, Rosa Salazar. All of those interviews will be available to view on JOE's YouTube, and on The Big Reviewski!
