An Irish actor in one of our favourite ever shows, please make it happen…

JOE knows that the standard of TV shows has gone through the roof in recent years with the likes Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and House of Cards turning into classics immediately and those shows have also become the topic of 78%* of conversations in work places, schools and college around Ireland. (*An educated guess)

Up there with any of those shows is season one of True Detective, it stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson and it’s some the best TV we have ever seen so we feel obliged to say that annoying sentence right now… You need to watch it!

The show has been a critical and commercial hit so they’re coming back with season two but with a completely different cast and in some exciting news, our very own Colin Farrell has been linked with one of the main roles.

According to Deadline.com, Farrell is “deep in negotiations to play one of what is expected to be three main roles in Season 2” of the HBO show.

The report went to to say “HBO would not confirm any of the potential castings, but I am confident that Farrell will be in the cast.”

That would be amazing. *JOE crosses fingers*
