#TRAILERCHEST: Colin Farrell and Liam Neeson's new thriller could be the most tense film of the year

The cast alone is a good enough reason to see this one.

Welcome to #TrailerChest, where we're taking a sneak peek at the brand new trailer for Widows.

Plot's it all about?

The director of 12 Years A Slave and the writer of Gone Girl combine to present a simple premise that promises devastating results.

When four armed robbers - Liam Neeson, Jon Bernthal, Garret Dillahunt and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo - are killed (yes, Neeson and The Punisher go down immediately) in a failed heist attempt in Chicago, their wives are forced to finish the job.

Spoilers? Well, yeah, but that's the official plot and the trailer makes the inciting incident clear for all to see.

Neeson appears to have plenty of flashback scenes, though, so it's not all bad.

The titular widows are led by Viola Davis, with Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki and Cynthia Erivo in support.

And supporting them: Colin Farrell, Robert Duvall, Carrie Coon, Daniel Kaluuya, Brian Tyree Henry, Lukas Haas and Jacki Weaver.

Starring: Seriously, that above cast is incredible.
