Another major star could be spending some time in Ireland in the future.
007 himself Daniel Craig has said he is thinking of retiring to Ireland.
The leading man appeared on The Late Late Show via videolink on Friday (24 September) to promote his final Bond film No Time to Die which is just days away from being released in cinemas in Ireland.
While the interview mostly focused on Craig's time playing Bond over the years and what people can expect from the new movie, the conversation turned to what is next for the actor.
Host Ryan Tubridy asked the star: "I suspect you will want nothing more than to chill out, relax... would you consider maybe a little break in Ireland?"
In response, Craig said: "Yes, you don't know, I love Ireland.
"I think I want to retire to Ireland, if they'll have me."
During the interview, Craig also called Irish actor and former 007 Pierce Brosnan "a gentleman," stating that he reached out to the previous Bond for advice.
"He just said: 'Get on with it, just enjoy the ride,'" Craig recalled.
The actor also said he was "very grateful" that No Time to Die will be released in cinemas, as opposed to streaming.
"A lot's happened over the past year and a bit. This is sort of low down the list of priorities, but it was a hope that we would manage to get it into the cinemas and here we are, we got a premiere and everything," he told Tubridy.
"I make movies for the cinema... I love cinema.
"We shot it on film. It looks best projected. The sound is incredible. Hans Zimmer has written just the most beautiful score and it needs to be loud and big."
No Time to Die hits Irish cinemas on 30 September and you can watch Craig's Late Late Show interview on the RTÉ Player.
