His work has spanned over a period of 25 years, and many still see him as the funniest stand-up comedian in the world.
Although some of the humour in his last few specials has been somewhat divisive, very few can captivate an audience in such a crude yet classy way.
He was rewarded for his efforts in October of 2019 with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humour, and if we're honest, we're genuinely confused as to why it took so long.
