Deadpool has absolutely wrecked The Avengers with a new PR stunt
Yesterday was a huge day for fans of the MCU.
After months and months of waiting in agony, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were finally treated to their first view of the aftermath of Avengers: Infinity War.
The infamous final scene of Infinity War saw the big baddie Thanos achieve his goal of wiping out half of the universe, including half of the characters we've grown to love over the past 10 years. The trailer also revealed the title of the movie — Avengers: Endgame.
The trailer finally dropped on Friday, and showed the remaining Avengers coming to terms with their incredibly grim fate... But guess what?
Deadpool don't give a fuck.
Masters of PR that they are, the Deadpool team have absolutely stolen more thunder than Thor with their latest trolling move, which saw them redirect the URL for avengersendgame.com to... well... click on it and see. That's right.
Anyone searching that URL is going to be taken to the promo page for Once Upon A Deadpool, the upcoming Deadpool Christmas movie.
Tony's emotional last letter to Pepper Potts? Steve Rogers' tears? An apparently missing Shuri?
