WATCH: Derry Girls star shares behind the scenes video from Season 1

We're pretty sure that the only people who didn't like Derry Girls are those who haven't seen it yet.

And the rest of us are just over here, impatiently the second season of Channel 4's spectacular Irish comedy, created by Lisa McGee. The girls are currently competing for the title of Radio Times Comedy Champion 2018. They've made it as far as the semi-final and, sickeningly, they've come up a fellow new Irish comedy in the shape of The Young Offenders (we're leaving any personal preference at the door for this article, by the way). Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan used her Twitter to grease the wheels for her show on Friday, offering a "NEVER BEFORE SEEN behind the scenes video from Season 1" if the girls went over 55% in the poll. Well, as of Friday afternoon, they sit pretty on 57%, and Coughlan has proved herself to be a woman of her word, and shared the clip, which features the show's stars Saoirse-Monica Jackson (Erin) and Louisa Harland (Orla McCool) competing against one another in a "Mini Egg Race". https://twitter.com/nicolacoughlan/status/1022830853695713281 It's pretty golden footage for anybody who can't wait for the show to make its return.
