Disney are hosting an audition day in Dublin to find Princesses and Princes to work in Disneyland

Paul Moore

Disney

The dream job for some people.

Now that Disney pretty much own the world of entertainment – Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, their own features, and all the new assets they have from the Fox merger are now under control of The Mouse House – it’s fair to say that a job with them is a position at one of the world’s biggest companies.

However, if you’re romantic and nostalgic about a career at Disney, it’s also a dream job for many people because let’s be honest, who doesn’t love Disney?

As they’ve frequently done, they’re looking to hire some Irish talent to play some of their most iconic characters.

As the posting states, their parade department are looking for enthusiastic and highly energetic people that can perform as any of the following;

  • performing as a famous Disney Character and/or Marvel
  • to participate in our wonderful parade and cavalcades (a basic dance level required),
  • to portray Disney Princesses and Princes (subject of having the distinguishing characteristics).

The open casting takes place on Saturday, 8 June at Dance Ireland, Liberty Corner – DanceHouse, Foley Street, Dublin.

At present, there are 50 positions available with open ended (full-time) and date to date (seasonal) contracts available.

Successful applicants will be expected to start work from June of this year.

If you’re interested in this position, more details can be found here.

Best of luck with the application.
