Fans will definitely be watching this.

In terms of breakout stars, there’s no denying that 2019 belongs to Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell.

Aside from selling-out arenas around the world and becoming a pop-culture icon, the ‘Bad Guy’ singer also made Grammy Awards history in November.

The 17-year-old is now the youngest person ever to be nominated in all four top general field categories in the same year of the Grammy Awards – Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist.

To make things even better, she was also recently named as Apple Music’s Artist of the Year. With the year drawing to a close, it appears that the good news will keep coming for her fans because Apple TV Plus is nearing a deal to acquire a documentary on the singer.

Variety have reported that  R.J. Cutler (Nashville, The War Room, A Perfect Candidate) will be directing the feature and that the majority of the documentary is already filmed – cameras were spotted as they followed Eilish around during her tour in October.

The report states that the director “was given close access to all aspects of the Grammy Award nominee’s life, from private moments with her family and behind the scenes looks at some of her most public appearances as she’s gained worldwide attention.”

The project is expected premiere on Apple TV Plus in 2020 and not on Apple Music.
