Donald Trump’s least favourite book will be made into a TV show

Trump

Surely he saw this coming…

Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House has caused quite a stir since hitting shelves earlier this month.

The controversial book exclusively goes behind the scenes during President Trump’s first year in office, claiming that Trump and his team never expected to win the 2016 election, among other explosive highlights.

Now comes the news that Michael Wolff’s exposé will go one step further and become everyone’s favourite new binge-watch.

(Okay, maybe not everyone.)

The Hollywood Reporter said on Wednesday that Endeavor Content – a new financing and sales wing between sister companies William Morris Endeavor and IMG – has inked a possible seven-figure deal to adapt Fire and Fury for television.

Wolff will oversee the new series in an executive producer capacity, alongside Michael Jackson (not that one), whose previous employers include Channel 4 and the BBC.

Fire and Fury enjoyed a huge first week of sales, debuting at #1 on the coveted New York Times best-seller list. Rights to the book have been sold in 32 countries.
