EXCLUSIVE WATCH: The Young Offenders describe the awkward moment they first met PJ Gallagher

Justine Stafford

Alright Boiiii???

To celebrate the release of the highly-anticipated (and hilarious) Irish movie The Young Offenders, we headed to meet the two main shkybois actors from the film, Alex Murphy and Chris Walley, along with fellow funny man PJ Gallagher.

In case you didn’t already know, The Young Offenders tells the very funny story of two teenage Cork bois, who go on a craic-filled quest to find… well, crack.

The pair hatch a not-so-perfect plan to find a missing bale of cocaine worth 7 million Euro which washes up on the west coast of Cork, with the two pups stealing bikes and finding themselves in some serious shenanigans along the way.

Absolute langers!

Keep an eye on JOE for the full interview and our Snapchat stories with the gas guys, but for now, check out our chat with Alex and Chris where they describe the first, incredibly awkward moment they met fellow cast member, PJ Gallagher.

In case you haven’t yet witnessed the side-splitting trailer, in pure Cork slang, take a gawk at it here!

The Young Offenders, Certificate 15A, free-wheels its way into Irish Cinemas on 16 September.
