We wants it, we needs it...

We wants it, we needs it…

In terms of life goals, it’s always been JOE’s ambition – apart from writing for JOE of course – to be a fully-qualified, Bill Murray-style Ghostbuster…

We’re not too sure how far off that inevitable day is but, in the meantime, we’re happy to settle for driving around town in a replica of the 1959 Cadillac ECTO-1 ambulance from the amazingly perfect 1984 film, Ghostbusters.

You wouldn’t happen to have €215,000 lying around, would you?

The classic car’s current owner, Milton Homan, has put his beloved replica up for sale and, according to an interview he did with the BBC, says that driving around in the iconic vehicle is “just like being David and Victoria Beckham.”

Ahmm, OK Milton. Maybe he hasn’t watched the film properly.

Homan bought the car five years ago saying “it was in pretty poor condition when I got it so it’s been completely gone over. There was a lot of cost involved, but it was worth it. The reaction you get when you drive it is absolutely unbelievable.”

And, although he loves the car and the movie, Homan explained that he now needs more space at home and so put the car up for sale; “I just thought it would be fun to see what sort of response there is. It would be really really heart-wrenching to let it go. It’s a great car and I love driving it.”

Don’t worry Milton, JOE will give it a good home.

And here’s a sneak peek of just how cool you could look…
