Fancy being a star? They’re looking for an Irish male for the lead role in the Artemis Fowl movie

Irish actors have always been major players on the world stage whether we’re talking about Liam Neeson (who proved he’s a legend once again recently), Colin Farrell, Cillian Murphy, Michael Fassbender or Jack Reynor.

But now, there’s an opportunity for one young Irish male to potentially follow their career trajectory into stardom.

MovieExtras.ie are looking for a young Irish fella between the ages of 9-12 to play the lead role in Artemis Fowl movie.

The ad is as follows:

Casting for the lead role in the upcoming Artemis Fowl film!! We’re looking for Irish Actors, aged 9-12 of any ethnicity for the role!

Artemis should be inquisitive and possessing both academic and emotional intelligence, Artemis is highly perceptive and good at reading people. Most importantly, Artemis is warm-hearted and has a great sense of humour; he has fun in whatever situation he is in and loves life.

No acting experience required but would be advantageous.

The castings are taking place in Cork from May 24 to 26. Casting Dates:
2pm -7pm, May 24, Schull
2pm – 7pm, May 25, Schull
2pm – 7pm, May 26, Cork City
