"I thought there was no way they're going to do that."
With the Avengers coming to an end(game) earlier this year, all eyes are on the MCU to see where it goes next.
The first post-unSnap outing goes to Spider-Man: Far From Home (our review here), and while the movie does a great job of settling us into the Universe still recovering from the events of Infinity War and Endgame, it also magnificently sets up where it might be going next with not one but TWO jaw-dropping post-credits scenes.
We're not going to get into them here (but we will, and soon!), so this really is for those who have already seen Far From Home, and are wondering if the cast were left as staggered by those two scenes as we were.
JOE was lucky enough to sit down with the cast, and first up, we chatted with Spider-Man himself (Tom Holland), MJ (Zendaya), and BFF Ned (Jacob Batalon), and asked what their reaction was to those final moments.
Zendaya: Some of them we didn’t know.
Tom Holland: Yeah, the very last one we didn’t know.
Jacob Batalon: Definitely did not know.
Tom Holland: But the first one I knew. And I didn’t believe they were going to do it.
Zendaya: Same
Tom Holland: When they told me, I was like 'There’s no way they’re going to do that.'
Zendaya: No way.
Tom Holland: That’s just them being, thinking it’s going to be really cool and they’ll bottle it at the end.
Jacob Batalon: Well then it turned out really cool.
Zendaya: They did it.
Jacob Batalon: It was so awesome.
Tom Holland: It was incredibly brave.
Zendaya: They committed.

Next, we chatted to Nick Fury (Sam Jackson) and asked for his thoughts on the scenes, and he is someone who - now ELEVEN Marvel movies and counting - is very invested in where the Universe goes next:
"I think its great. All of the movies in the MCU have their own timbre," he said.
"I think they’ve tapped into something that’s going to be great and just listening to what they’re planning you know with the Asian version of whatever you know the Universe is going to take on."
In case you didn't already know, Spider-Man: Far From Home is in Irish cinemas right now. Check out the trailer right here:
