Some of these are almost as unique, quirky and visually brilliant as the directors work.
Very few directors can claim to have the fancy pants title of ‘auteur’ attached to their work but Wes Anderson most definitely can.
A unique visual style, the frequent use of a bizarre environment and the constant use of outsiders as the main characters are just some of his signature trademarks. All this before we even mention his eye for a snappy outfit or his frequent collaboration with the same trusted set of actors.
Even an average Anderson film is still better than most and some of these tributes are just superb and a selection of the works are currently on sale via the Spoke Art Gallery store.
