Season 8 of Game of Thrones has received mixed reviews so far.

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past five weeks, you may not be aware that the final season of Game of Thrones is underway.

And to say that it’s received mixed reviews so far is an understatement.

We now only have one episode left, and a hell of a lot of people aren’t fans of the route the final season has gone down.

So much so, that at the time of writing 332,658 people have signed a petition to “remake Game of Thrones season 8 with competent writers.”

The most recent episode of the show was written by show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

The bio of the petition states that “this series deserves a final season that makes sense.”

The most recent episode of the show entitled ‘The Bells’, is currently the worst reviewed episode in the show’s history, while simultaneously being the most-watched episode ever too.

Game of Thrones returns for its final episode on Monday at 2am and 9pm on Sky Atlantic, and we imagine that fans of the series will have a calm and measured reaction to whatever happens.

Or maybe the petition will gain a couple of thousand signatures.
