A few Game of Thrones stars were spotted having a quiet one in Belfast over the weekend

With all of the snow, there was bound to be a Jon in there too.

“There’s no story so good a drink won’t make it better,” as Thoros of Myr says, and indeed, he wouldn’t be half wrong.

Anybody hanging around Belfast would be delighted enough to learn that a few of Game of Thrones’ cast and crew were in the city, never mind the fact they were spotted in the city’s oldest traditional pub having a quick one.

Hanging about in the upstairs bar at Kelly’s Cellars, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harrington, Peter Dinklage and Jacob Anderson, alongside two of the shows producers shrugged off the snow for a few glasses of wine and Guinness on Saturday night (3 March).

Taking to Twitter, the Kelly’s crew commented: “As you may have noticed, Winter Is Coming. Or Coming Back. Or whatever.

“But whatever it is, it was a pleasure to welcome some of the cast of Game of Thrones yesterday evening. Because that’s what they do. They drink. And they know things.”

So yeah, given how appropriate it was that they appeared in the pub during one of the snowiest periods in recent years, the entire situation became a Game of Thrones quotes free-for-all.

“Now, go drink until it feels like you did the right thing.”
