A Game of Thrones and Narcos favourite is set to join The Star Wars TV series

Carl Kinsella

Pedro Pascal

Pedro Pascal is loved for his roles in Game of Thrones and Narcos.

The Chilean-American actor famously played the role of Oberyn ‘The Viper’ Martell on the fourth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones. He also got rave reviews for his performance as Javier Pena on Netflix’s crime-drama Narcos.

Now, it appears Pascal will be bringing his charm and charisma to yet another iconic franchise.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Pascal has joined the cast of The Mandalorian — a series which is set to be one of the major offerings of Disney’s new online streaming service Disney+.

The Mandalorian was announced last week as part of Disney’s opening slate of shows on the service which is being built to compete with giants like Netflix and Hulu. The show will be a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, following the story of Diego Luna’s character Cassian Andor.

Disney+ has also announced plans for a spin-off Avengers TV series with Loki as the main character, and a spin-off series based on the Monsters Inc universe.
