George Lucas is feeling the pinch from a very controversial TV interview with Charlie Rose.
The Star Wars creator said in his initial interview that he had sold his "kids" - aka one of the biggest film franchises in cinema history - "to the white slavers who take these things."

He has now apologised for using a "very inappropriate analogy" and claimed that Disney is moving the franchise in "such exciting directions."
"I rarely go out with statements to clarify my feelings but I feel it is important to make it clear that I am thrilled that Disney has the franchise and is moving it in such exciting directions," Lucas said in his statement.
This tweet pretty much sums up how people felt about Lucas' remarks, especially given the huge amount of money he received when he sold the films' rights to Disney in October 2012.
