Golf’s version of Formula 1: Drive to Survive is coming to Netflix in the very near future, according to reports.

Golf.com says that the PGA Tour has struck a deal with the streaming service for an all-new docuseries.

It reports that the show will give viewers an unprecedented behind-the-scenes glimpse at some of the best golfers worldwide as they play in the 2021-22 PGA Tour season.

The website states that media company Box to Box Films, who are behind F1: Drive to Survive, will be involved in the production and that it would follow the same blueprint as the racing series.

It also reports that the cast is still being finalised for the golf series, but that those who have already agreed to take part in the programme include a number of the Tour’s top players.

Production for the show is set to commence in the 2021-22 season, with one source telling Golf.com that they believed filming would not begin until early 2022.

Meanwhile, a fourth season of F1: Drive to Survive covering the 2021 Formula One World Championship has been announced and is set to be released next year.
