It’s from the director of the Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy.
It’s Wednesday and you may be looking for something to watch this evening to help you wind down after a long day.
Thankfully, Netflix has just added 11 big movies to its library, which you can read about here.
Yet, if none of these catch your fancy, here are the film options on telly tonight.
Cop Car – Horror Channel – 9pm
Our pick for tonight comes from director Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home) and centres on two young boys who come across and hijack an abandoned police car to go on a joyride.
However, they soon find themselves in a fight for survival after learning the vehicle belongs to a corrupt sheriff (Kevin Bacon with a moustache).
Boasting an impressive 81% score on Rotten Tomatoes, Cop Car is a tense and tight watch elevated by a commanding and scary turn by Bacon.
The Beatles: Eight Days a Week – Sky Arts – 9pm
Fans of The Beatles docuseries Get Back may enjoy this well-reviewed documentary film on the legendary band from director Ron Howard.
Man of Steel – Turner Classic Movies – 9pm
