The greatest news for fans of the hit movie.

It is almost impossible to fully emphasise just how much of a massive success The Greatest Showman turned out to be.

It made over $430 million at the box office worldwide, and was nominated for an Oscar (‘This Is Me’ lost Best Original Song to Coco’s ‘Remember Me’), while the soundtrack stayed in the charts for almost all of 2018, prompting the release of The Greatest Showman: Reimagined, a kind of remix album featuring Kesha, Pink!, and Missy Elliott.

Then the movie itself wound up alongside the likes of Elf and Home Alone this December, getting another release in the cinema just in time Christmas.

So, yes, the film is hugely popular.

But despite being released here less than a year ago (the Irish release date was 26 December 2017), it will actually be shown on TV on Christmas Day.

Sky One will be screening The Greatest Showman on 25 December at 6.45pm, just in time for everyone to be finished their big Christmas dinners and in need of something good to watch on the telly.

Besides, it isn’t as if we don’t all know the words to this song by now anyways…
