It has been reported that Love Island's Greg O'Shea temporarily left the villa to attend the funeral of his grandmother. The 24-year-old flew to Dublin where he attended the funeral mass yesterday, and has since returned to the villa. Greg's Dad, Niall O'Shea, told Limerick Live 95: "Greg is a very good family man and his mother wanted to make sure he was there because himself and his Nan, got on well."
The family have praised the show producers for allowing Greg to return home to be with his family. Monica Ho (née Finlay) from Raheen, Limerick "passed away peacefully on 19th July 2019, in the care of Talbot Lodge Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family." Love Island airs at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
