Some excellent films on later.

With a weather warning in place for seven counties and an advisory that the conditions are expected to get a bit chilly, today is the perfect day to kick back and watch a film.

On this note, there are plenty of titles to choose from.

Here’s the best of what’s on.

The Parent Trap – 12.40pm on E4

Lindsay Lohan interferes in the love life of her parents.

Ever After: A Cinderella Story – 1pm on RTÉ2

An extremely-underrated retelling of the Cinderella story with Drew Barrymore in the lead.

Never Been Kissed  – 2.20pm on Channel 4

Another beloved Drew Barrymore film. We like Drew.

Wonder – 4.25pm on Channel 4

August Pullman, a boy with facial differences, enters the fifth grade and learns life lessons. Schmaltzy but charming feel good film that hits the nail on the head.

Shrek – 4.35pm on ITV2

If anyone saw Mike Myers in So I Married An Axe Murderer, he’s basically just ripping off that dad from that one to get the voice of Shrek, right? Aside from this, he also based his voice on Chris Farley who was originally going to provide the voice of the ogre. There you have it.

Rio Bravo – 6.10 on ITV4

A. Genuine. Classic.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 – 6.20 on ITV2

I am Groot.

Mrs Doubtfire – 6.40pm on E4

A perfect Sunday watch.

Dumb and Dumber – 9pm on Comedy Central

“Kick his ass, Sea Bass!”

Stir of Echoes- 9pm on Horror Channel

Fancy watching one of the most criminally underrated and under-appreciated horror films of the ’90s? Yeah go on.

Cliffhanger – 9pm on ITV4

Stallone hangs off a cliff. More bonkers shit happens.

Straight Outta Compton – 11.15pm on ITV2

Fantastic retelling of N.W.A’s story which features one of the best musical moments of the last decade. It’s impossible not to feel like you’re ten feet tall as the final credits roll.

Now You See Me  – 00.00am on Channel 4

Magic and heist caper featuring Roy Munson (Woody Harrelson), Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg), and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

Black Sheep – 00.50am on Horror Channel

An experiment in genetic engineering turns harmless sheep into bloodthirsty killers that terrorise a sprawling New Zealand farm.

It’s nuts but it’s also a lot of fun.
