Two former Irish presidents and a country music legend will appear on the programme.

The line-up for this week’s episode of The Late Late Show has been unveiled, revealing who can you expect to see if you switch on RTÉ One on Friday night.

Following the programme last week raising much-needed funds for the conflict in Ukraine, the show will again be focusing on the war in the country.

Former Irish Presidents Mary Robinson and Mary McAleese will appear on the Late Late together to speak about events in Ukraine.

RTÉ Europe Editor Tony Connelly will also recount the scenes he saw first-hand on the streets of Kyiv while broadcasting from a bunker where parents and children sought refuge.

Meanwhile, beloved country singer Dolly Parton and bestselling author James Patterson have collaborated together on a new novel titled Run, Rose, Run.

The pair will join host Ryan Tubridy from Nashville to talk about the book and why they are both extremely passionate about encouraging children to read from a young age.

On top of this, there will be music from Dublin pop artist Aimée, who will perform her newest single ‘Nobody Else’.

You can watch this week’s Late Late Show on RTÉ One on Friday, March 11 at 9.35pm.
