Holmes & Watson wins Worst Movie of the Year at Razzie Awards

We can’t say that we’re surprised.

Ever year, The Razzie Awards honour the worst of the worst when it comes to movies released in the past 12 months.

Held just before the Oscars, they have been running since 1981 and are usually taken in good fun by those who receive them.

And on that note, it’s a good thing that Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly have a good sense of humour.

The comedic pair, who have acted together in Step Brothers and Talladega Nights (both of which are classic movies), starred in Holmes & Watson in 2018, and it was not well received.

So much so that the movie picked up The Razzie Award for Worst Picture on Friday night.

Holmes & Watson was poorly received worldwide, and has an IMDB rating of 3.4/10.

The two lads weren’t the biggest losers on the night though, that honour goes to President Donald Trump.

He picked up two awards for Worst Actor and Worst Screen Combo, for his performance in Death Of A Nation.

The documentary, directed by Dinesh D’Souza, currently has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and topped numerous worst-of lists in 2018.
