I'm A Celeb fans spot Ant and Dec's relieved reaction as Matt Hancock comes third
'You can tell how much Ant & Dec can’t stand him'.
Footballer Jill Scott was crowned Queen of the Jungle on Sunday and Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner was runner-up in the show that returned to Australia for the first time in three years, following the pandemic.
As third place was revealed, fans zeroed-in on Ant and Dec to see the duo's reaction. And they seemed thrilled the former UK Health Secretary - whose appearance on the show ignited a wave of criticism that never stopped ricocheting across social media - was not named the 2022 winner.
Noticing what happened, one fan wrote: "Ant and Dec look relieved as the nation finally wakes up and votes Matt off #ImACelebrity #ImACeleb how he made it to the final three though."
Another viewer added: "You can tell how much Ant & Dec can’t stand him. Legends #imaceleb #imacelebrity."
A third, according to the Mirror, wrote: "You can absolutely feel the awkwardness from Ant & Dec having to talk to him, especially Ant. It's forced and awful to watch, they are clearly uncomfortable and not falling for his bulls***. Just wishing it over, same as most of us. #ImACeleb."
After leaving the jungle, Hancock was greeted by his girlfriend and former aide, Gina Coladangelo, who he broke covid restrictions with during the pandemic.
The pair's affair was splashed across the front pages after they were caught embracing. Hancock later had to step down as Health Secretary.
Speaking to Ant and Dec during his exit interview, Hancock said of his motivation to appear on the show: "Politicians don't come across as human enough and I wanted to show who I am."
That interview was agony.

He added: "People think they know me, but they only know me from the TV and the media."
Hancock had his Conservative whip removed when his I'm A Celeb entry was announced. It was later revealed he would earn £400,000 for the appearance.
Ant and Dec haven't been shy of voicing their opinions this series - and they fumed recently when Hancock burned the rice.
"When you've got such little food in there," Dec said, discussing what happened. Ant added: "That would make me very angry. And Matt sat in bed. That was Matt's job to keep an eye on the rice."
Ant earlier conceded people at home would be "shouting at the telly" over Hancock.
