If the title isn’t Bikes, Drugs and Rock n’ Roll, we’ll eat our hats
Bradley Cooper looks to be getting behind a project that has been peddled around Hollywood recently, the biopic of Lance Armstrong, seven-time Tour de France winner who was stripped of his titles as a result of admitting he had been doping.
Cooper wants to come on board the project as producer, and is also rumoured to want to play one of the two main roles in the movie, that of Armstrong himself or Tyler Hamilton, according to Deadline.com.
Warner Bros are thought to be attached to the project, and Jay Roach comes on board as director with a script by Side Effects writer Scott Z. Burns. Cooper has a few projects under his belt at the moment (American Sniper which has run into problems after Spielberg left the project, as well as Elephant Man and American Hustle), but it’s thought that if they fast track the project to get it done he will be free to hop in the saddle.
