It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia fans should get themselves to this Dublin pub

Paul Moore

Fancy a game of Chardee MacDennis?

Some bars are happy to provide their patrons with Jenga, fussball and Connect 4 but there’s one game that rules them all and it takes place in Paddy’s Pub.

Apologies, I’ve just made a huge mistake because as Charlie points out, Chardee MacDennis it’s not just a game: “It’s a war”.

Doyles pub on College Green, Dublin is having an IASIP themed evening on February 4th with all the proceeds from this event, and subsequent fundraising events being split between three charities: Cool Earth, Heart Children Ireland and Barretstown.

While we’re drawn to the idea of a quiz and being able to dress up as our favourite characters (we call Frank), it’s the real life version of Chardee MacDennis that’s piqued our interest.

As we all know, the wine and cheese pre-match ceremony is just a a formality before all hell breaks loose during the ‘Trivia, Puzzles, and Artistry’ round. We’re really looking forward to the ‘Emotional Battery and Public Humiliation’ stage of the evening.

Check out the full event page here and get your gang together.
