He talks about putting together one of the biggest action scenes of the year.
Director James Wan has had quite the career to date.
He grabbed everyone's attention with the original Saw back in 2004, before the one-two punch of not great movies (Dead Silence, Death Sentence) arrived that would've derailed most other careers.
Wan came back stronger, with low-budget horror Insidious (his first time working with actor Patrick Wilson), which went on to become a huge success.
From there he directed its sequel, as well as the first two The Conjuring movies, which resulted in him executive producing the entire extended Conjuring universe, which so far includes the Annabelle and Nun movies.
He finally broke into the big budget stuff with Fast & Furious 7 (definitely one of the best, if not THE best in the series), before Warner Brothers and DC knocked on his door to take on Aquaman (his FIFTH time working with Patrick Wilson).
Which isn't to say that he's turning his back on the smaller horror stuff, as we chatted to him about what to expect from Annabelle 3 (he is providing the story for that movie), but we also talked about the insanely huge action sequences that were involving in this new blockbuster.
