Welcome one and all to another episode of the JOE.ie film podcast where resident office fancy dan Adrian Collins, Eoghan ‘Wet Hands’ Doherty and Sue ‘Baby Hands’ Murphy (of Her.ie fame) shoot the breeze all about movies and stuff and junk.
In this episode, the panel chat about this week’s box office for way longer than had originally been planned, so long in fact that the theme music runs out before we even get to number nine on the list. We started at number ten.
There’s plenty of chat about the latest blockbuster to hit our screens The LEGO Movie as well as Joaquin Phoenix falling in love with Scarlett Johansson’s disembodied voice (haven’t we all) in Her as well as Clooney’s latest offering Monuments Men, which has the greatest cast ever assembled on film.
To round off the podcast, we discover that Sue hates fun, and refuses to participate in games of any sort, which means that Adrian’s eh, “well researched” game ‘Quel Quip?’ was only played by Eoghan, who really knows his James Bond it would seem.
