The movie hits cinemas almost exactly one year from today, and we’re already uncontrollably excited.
This week has seen a HUGE amount of new casting announcements for the John Wick threequel, and they are adding up to an even more impressive eclectic crew than we’ve seen from the Fast & Furious movies…
First of all, let us look at who is returning:
– Keanu Reeves (duh)
– Ian McShane, as Wick’s former good friend but now responsible for the price on his head
– Laurence Fishburne, as the head of the underground network
– Ruby Rose, as the silent but deadly competing assassin
– Lance Reddick, as the concierge for the assassins-only hotel, The Continental
Now, who are the new additions:
– Angelica Huston, best known as being the mom in The Addams Family
– Asia Kate Dillon, best known as the tech-savvy assistant in Billions
– Mark Damascos, best known as … the leader guy from Iron Chef
– Jason Mantzoukas, best known as being the kooky boyfriend in Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Good Place
– Halle Berry, best known for… well, come on, if you don’t know who Halle Berry is, we’re not sure we can help you…

And finally, the folks who are still rumoured to be joining:
– Hiroyuki Sanada, set to play the movie’s big bad guy, best known for The Wolverine and Sunshine
– Carrie-Anne Moss, in an unknown role, which combined with Reeves and Fishburne, would make this an unofficial Matrix reunion!
Yep, we’re very excited!
John Wick: Chapter 3 is set to hit Irish cinemas on 17 May 2019.
