Hugh Carr

late late show 21 january

An award-winning director will be in the hot seat…

Another week, another Late Late.

This week is full of inspirational characters, so it should be a lovely way to spend a Friday afternoon.

Kenneth Branagh will be on the show from London to discuss his latest film, Belfast.

The film won Best Screenplay at this year’s Golden Globes, as well as being nominated for Best Motion Picture (Drama), Best Director, two Best Supporting Actor nods, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Original Song for Van Morrison’s ‘Down’.

Ryan will also be joined by Operation Transformation leaders and presenter Kathryn Thomas as they look to the year ahead and the challenges they face.

Former Head Coach with Galway United Football Club Lisa Fallon will be on the show to discuss her new position as High-Performance Consultant in FIFA, as well as about her extraordinary career, being a female in a male-dominated industry and about how a serious assault on her, as a young woman, has shaped her view of the world.

Eleanor McEvoy and friends will be performing ‘Only a Woman’s Heart’.

The Late Late Show is on RTÉ One on Friday night (21 January) at 9.35pm.
