Here is the line-up for this week’s episode of The Late Late Show

Stephen Porzio

The episode will be full of Irish talent.

Host Patrick Kielty and The Late Late Show are back this Friday night once again.

Leading the guestlist is actor, author and former presenter of The Great British Bake Off, Matt Lucas.

He will be chatting to Kielty about his remarkable career in comedy with the likes of Little Britain, his debut “musical novel” The Boy Who Slept Through Christmas and his cameo role in the hugely anticipated Gladiator II.

Comedian and actor Ardal O’Hanlon will also be in the studio to discuss preparing to go back out on the road next year with his new show.

As well as this, he and Kielty will chat about meeting the Pope during the summer and as 30 years of Father Ted approaches, O’Hanlon will be asked how his role as Fr. Dougal in the iconic sitcom transformed his fortunes.

IFTA award-winning actress and recent JOE interviewee Victoria Smurfit will be on the Late Late talking about working with Jilly Cooper, Aidan Turner and David Tennant on Disney+’s new steamy hit TV show Rivals.

Another Irish actress and recent JOE interviewee Eileen Walsh will also be in the studio to discuss her role in the hotly anticipated Claire Keegan adaptation Small Things Like These, in which she stars opposite Cillian Murphy.

Walsh will tell Kielty how her friendship with Murphy goes back to the start of both of their careers.

Ahead of Halloween, Jedward will “banish any ghosts or ghouls from the studio with a paranormal performance” while Bambie Thug will perform their brand new song ‘Fangtasy’.

The Late Late Show is airing on RTÉ One on Friday at 9.35pm.
