The Toy Show has changed the way audiences can get tickets.
The Late Late Toy Show is happening this year at the slightly later date of Friday, 6 December and now you can apply for tickets to be part of the audience.
With just over a month to go until it airs, you can be in with the chance to secure tickets to the biggest Irish TV event of 2024 via the RTÉ website.
A statement from the broadcaster reads: “Would you like to be in with a chance of winning audience tickets to the most magical night of the year? The Late Late Toy Show 2024 is happening this December 6th, and we want to hear from you!
“As the demand for Late Late Toy Show tickets far exceeds the number of seats available for the show, regrettably, we cannot guarantee that every applicant will receive tickets.
“In the interest of fairness and to ensure that everyone has an equal chance, we allocate tickets on a random selection basis. We no longer operate a waiting list for audience tickets.
“Following application, we will contact you with full details if your name is selected for tickets.”

As part of the application, people are asked to share their favourite Christmas song.
Applicants are reminded that they must be available on Friday, 6 December and that these “golden tickets” are non-transferable.
They are also asked to fill out the form only once.
Should a person’s application be successful, they will be contacted by “email/phone” the week before the show.
Speaking about the ticket lottery, Patrick Kielty said: “It’s that special time of the year when I become weirdly popular with family, friends and complete strangers.
“And yet they all just want to ask me the same question: ‘Any chance of an aul ticket for the Toy Show?’
“Well sadly I don’t have any and can’t get any BUT here’s how you could be joining me for the biggest night of the year on December 6th.
“Remember, Toy Show dreams do come true but you gotta be in it to win in. So be quick. And be lucky!’”
The announcement comes as The Late Late Show is on break this week.
It will be back on Friday, 15 November with guest Paul Mescal.
